  1. That is easy.

    HV20.

    Records in DV and HDV on miniDV tape.

    Canon Lenses.

    Mic-in jack.

    Manual audio control.

    I appreciate that the JVC doe NOT use AVCHD - that is awesome - but the extra step of burning DVDs for archives when the miniDV (digital video) tape is already there as an archive is just too handy. I also like that I can export the finished project back out to the camcorder so if I want to I can watch the project on my HDTV using the camcorder as a deck - I have been shooting with a Sony HDR-HC1 and editing hidef video for around two years...
