JVC recievers sub doesnt work?

I have a JVC RX-D206 and when i hook my powered sub up to it the sub dosent do anything

Set the sub's power to half and the crossover/frequency to 80Hz. Open the menu on the JVC and tell it you have a sub. That should fix it.

There are quite a few settings as well as the dials on the back of the sub that you might need to adjust. Make sure the sub is hooked up properly. Make sure you have your amp set to send the sub signal out. Finally, make sure the sub is set high enough to "feel" (you don't hear subs, you feel them).
