Hi,

I'm looking at buying the Jack 72 hamster cage

http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/rodents/cages/hamster_mouse_cages/30348

I can't find details on the bar spacing anywhere, and i have roborovski hamsters so i dont want them to escape!!

If anyone knows the answer i'd be very grateful.

  1. well actually to me i dont think your hamster will reach the bars because there to high up

  2. Although, Marchioro cages are some of my favorites - our rabbits use that brand (but obviously a larger cage).

Robovorski hamsters are really small and would escape that cage. The horizontal bars are also an issue - hamsters will climb them and fall off and get hurt. A bin cage will give you that amount of room for less cost.

  3. this should be ok for your lickle fluffy hamz

  4. DO NOT GET IT!!!! i had three FAT hamsters and they all got out !!!! they bend the bars and squeez through!
