The stakes have never been as high as they are right now when wrestlers are squaring off against each other for the “Fatal Four Way”, Pay per view. This Pay per view is for the world Heavy Weight Championship. All those wrestlers who will be competing for the gold have been selected after they won some hardcore matches against different wrestlers. The participants include the current, Worlds Heavy Weight Champion, “Jack Swagger”, the biggest athlete in the world, “Big Show”, master of the 619, the high flying, “Rey Mysterio” and the leader of the straight edge group, “C M Punk”.
On June 11, 2010 all the contenders faced off each other in the ring. Every one of them was holding the microphone and claimed that they will win the match for the World Heavy Weight Championship. There was evident tension in the air as there was the threat that any one of them could start the attack and turn serenity of the arena to complete chaos. Hence this is what happened. After things got heated up among these famous wrestlers, it was decided that Rey Mysterio will face Jack Swagger in a one on one match. Before the match Jack Swagger exclusively said that it will be a miracle if Rey Mysterio could beat him.
Jack Swagger who is the current World Heavy Weight Champion squared off against Rey Mysterio for the match. Jack Swagger had the size advantage and could beat Rey Mysterio with his powerful punches. Jack Swagger is also the two times All American wrestling champion. Rey Mysterio on the other hand has been the ultimate underdog through out his wrestling career. He has defeated legends where he was least expected to win. Rey signalled that he will use his high flying manoeuvres and athletic abilities to exhaust his opponent and then knock him out. Jack Swagger was quick to attack and slammed the body of Rey Mysterio on the ring floor after lifting Rey high in the air.
Jack Swagger then used his extra ordinary grappling tactics to move Rey around the ring like Rey was a small toy. Many people thought that Rey Mysterio may be no match against the champion but they were wrong. Rey Mysterio used his small size to his advantage and ducked when Jack Swagger came running towards him. And there was Jack Swagger lying on the concrete floor with Rey standing tall in the ring. Rey then executed some high risk and high flying offence and jumped to land on the neck of Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger quickly changed the momentum of the match by delivering a vicious close line to the face of Rey Mysterio. Jack Swagger went for the cover but Rey kicked out immediately.
Jack Swagger used all his energy by putting pressure on the abdomen of Rey Mysterio. But Rey Mysterio didn’t tap out. It was the determination of Rey Mysterio which earned him the respect and cheers of the audience. Rey Mysterio who was determined as ever executed his famous wrestling finisher called the 619. In this maneuver, Rey Mysterio runs through the ring to create momentum and kicks in the face of his opponent. Rey Mysterio did the 619 twice on Jack Swagger and then thee was no question of Jack Swagger kicking out of the cover.
The referee counted to three and signalled that Rey has won the match fairly. But Jack Swagger didn’t accept the outcome as he kept delivering punches to the face of Rey Mysterio. Then everything turned red as the brother of UnderTaker, Kane walked his way to the ring. Kane has been looking for the suspect who assaulted his bother and left him a vegetative state. Kane choke slammed both Jack Swagger and Rey Mysterio on the ring floor. May be this is the sign of the darker things to come. Perhaps the fury and power of Kane will result in the destruction of everyone on Smack Down.
