Jack Taylor shines on debut guiding Gloucestershire to victory over Somerset: Friends Life T20 – Second Innings Report

However, the hosts had to bat well to achieve the target, as the playing conditions were not easier in the second half of the innings. Gloucestershire were given a tough time by the opposition’s bowlers, but managed to reach the target in the last over of
the innings, losing eight batsmen.

The pitch was not ideal for the batsmen even in the first innings, but it became even slower in the second half of the match. However, the hosts didn’t have to chase down a massive total, which helped them win the match in the end.
Gloucestershire’s start was not a good one, as they lost their opening batsman, Kevin O’Brien early. The Irishman failed to get going and was dismissed for four runs off five deliveries.
