Jack Wilshere out of Arsenal squad as his recovery progress has suffered a major setback
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 is going to be fit again.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international picked up a knock in a friendly game during the pre-season and was expected to start for the Gunners last season. However, it seems like as the days go by, the expected date for the player to return prolongs.
Wenger, when talking about when Wilshere would be back to play for Arsenal is quoted to have said:"I don't know if we are back to square one or for how long he will be out"
He then went on to add:
"He's in a boot again, so that means he will at least be out for two or three weeks. So that is bad news for us and adds to the players we miss with transfers and some through injuries. Of course at the moment the squad is short."
As a result, it seems like Wilshere is now going to sit out on, what could be hailed as the biggest week in Arsenal’s recent history. The team are set to face Udinese later in the day, in order to ensure their progress to the group stages of the Premier
League and are then going to be taking on Manchester United this coming weekend. Both those games are of the utmost importance to the Gunners and a loss in either one, could signal an imminent disaster for the team.
Arsenal are also going to be without the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-Song-c4804. Should all of those players take to the field for the Gunners, then they would
stand a much better chance at progressing from the game.
Nonetheless, despite having a one goal lead in the tie, Arsenal just can’t take Udinese lightly. The Italians are known for being brutal at home and based on how they performed at the Emirates, they could really take the game to the North London side.
Arsenal are going to have to rely on the remaining squad members to try and put on a show for the ages. The team is going to have to not only defend their lead, but they are going to have to try and pick up a win. Not only would that shut up the team’s critics,
but it would also ensure the team more funds to spend before the end of the transfer window.
