Arsenal midfielder and England international, Jack Wilshere has gone on to pick up a knock, while participating in the pre-season campaign for his team.
The midfielder was participating in the Emirates Cup, as Arsenal took on the New York Red Bulls at home, in hopes to win the pre-season competition.
In the 6th minute of the game, the midfielder seemed to land awkwardly from and aerial tackle and was hence substituted by Arsene Wenger. The manager didn’t plan on taking any risks with the player, as he signalled to the bench, that he wanted
Wilshere out of the game, almost immediately.
At the moment, there has been no confirmation regarding how serious the player’s injury is, or how long he is going to be out for. However, what can be regarded as good news, is the fact that Wilshere managed to jog his way to the changing room, following
his withdrawal from the game.
However, should the player be injured for a little longer than expected, he would not only dampen Arsenal’s future prospects, but would also cause http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 Capello to reassess England’s future games.

Wilshere also not be able to get fit in time, the manager will really have to re-think his tactics going into the game.

The player has had a highly impressive pre season so far and it would be a major blow to see him not be able to participate in the opening games of the season.
