Jack Wilshere wants Arsenal to sign a couple of players in order to compete for the Premier League crown
Arsenal midfielder and England international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jack-Wilshere-c17463 has gone on to state that he wants Arsenal to go ahead and splash the cash, in order to strengthen the squad. The midfielder wants the team to challenge for the Premier League this coming season
and feels that the team is going to have to make a couple of signings.
The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and even http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 have gone on to spend money in the transfer window, with all three teams already having spent nearly forty million pounds so far.
On the other hand, Arsenal have so far gone on to capture http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gervinho-c14755 for a fee of around ten and a half million pounds, with it seeming highly unlikely for the team to go ahead and land another player or two.
As a result, Wilshere has gone on to reveal his opinions about the team’s transfer policy and has kind of begged Wenger to go ahead and make a number of signings.
The nineteen year old http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international is quoted to have said:"We are not a spending club but we still managed to stay up there with the top teams”
“And we have to win things this year.
"Maybe if we had a few more faces we could really push on. If we get a few more players we can really challenge for the title.
"Around March and April we have to stay really strong. We are confident we can be up and around it then so we have to remain strong at that crucial time."
Once again, it seems like Wilshere is showing maturity well beyond his years. The midfielder has gone on to identify what the problem is with Arsenal, while it seems like even the manager at the club can’t figure it out.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, at the moment are in desperate need of a defender or two. The team has not yet gone on to secure the signing of any defenders and should they keep up their current attitude in the transfer market, it would make it close to impossible for them to
land anyone.
At the same time, it seems all the more likely for Cesc Fabregas to leave the team and join http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604. In order to compensate for the player’s departure, the team really need to go ahead and bring in a decent replacement.
Arsenal have more than enough youth players, who have maturity well beyond their years, but what the team really needs right now is experience.
