which represents the character joker more and why..

They both did awsome jobs with acting out the type of joker they were supposed to b.

ppl keep rating them on the joker in the comics but jack wasnt supposed to b like that. he waz supposed to b a more sarcastic joker while heath played the joker leaning more to the comic books.

heath ledger by far. he totally embodied his character; i forgot he was an actor. he was a character you loved to hate. he had so much charisma and was so quirky l*****g his lips and having no typical motivation except to cause chaos. there was no back story about him, so it just made you wonder about him more.

i was more entertained by him than the actual batman!

This is a very difficult question to answer. Jack Nicholson portrayed the classic slap stick sadistic joker that we all grew up with and pulled it off with flying colors. However, Heath Ledger played a joker who was more suited to today's day and age in a more serious version of the batman storyline. They both brought an equal and dramatic role to one of comic books most feared villains in their own way.
