Kallis has so far played 152 Tests, 321 ODIs and 17 T20 Internationals for the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ian-Harold-King-c63858 Nation and has more than 23 thousand runs under his belt with the help of 59 centuries and 145 fifties at the ultimate level of the game.
On top of that, the strongly built cricketer, who bowls at high speeds consistently, has more than 500 international scalps under his name, which makes him an amazing performer and one of the best in history without a shadow of doubt.
The 36-year-old has immense international experience and does not want to experiment with his method of preparation or technique ahead of an important event. The all-rounder maintains that he is not even concerned about a poor past record in England.
"I'll just prepare the way I've always prepared," he said. "The past is the past. The last innings is the last innings and it plays no part in me wanting to do better. I just do what I do day in or day out and try and perform for whatever side I've played
for."
The series between the two countries starts tomorrow at the Oval, with the number one Test ranking at stake. Kallis, who has never been a part of any successful World Cup campaign, despite taking part in five mega events, would love to make amends by seeing
his side crowned as the best team of the globe in the longer version of the sport.
Some of the cricket analysts are of the opinion that Kallis has gone past his best years in international cricket but the all-rounder claims that he is at the prime of his career when it comes to form and fitness, although he is in his late-30s now.
The legendary cricketer added, "I am as fit as I've ever been. I'm probably playing as good cricket as I've ever played in my career. I'm hitting the ball as well as I've ever hit it. It's like studying for an exam, and I've covered all the bases."
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/AJ-Strauss-c964 and company would be wary of the all-rounder’s intentions as Kallis is out to set his record straight in England.
