I think we all have different views regarding Jade Goody and the whole way in which it was diagnosed/announced, but lets wish her well and a speedy recovery

Agreed Lo_mcg..as was pointed out to me yesterday, to comment anything else at this stage is insensitive. I would find it hard to believe someone would announce they have cancer as a publicity stunt. It looked pretty genuine to me.

Some people seem to forget that if it was a publicity stunt medical professionals would have been complicit in the lie; odd thing to risk your medical career on.

As for her not looking upset as she leaves the house

1. to me it looks as if her eyes are swollen with crying

2. Nobody told me when I was diagnosed about the 'looking upset all the time' rule. Hours after my diagnosis I was drinking and laughing with my friend and my sister; the horror of the situation didn't really register for 48 hours.

Rhianna is right - whatever our personal feelings about Goody, it would be unspeakable to do other than wish her well at this time.

Many of these cancers are very localised and most are curable. Hopefully her problem is no worse than that. Some people always play their lives close to the chest, others like me are , according to my wife too much of an open book. There is however something in the old adage ' A problem shared is a problem halved!!

(Sorry if I was a bit hard on you the other day Rhianna. I have just had to give and share a lot of bad news with a lot of people over the years, and I always wished I could make it go away or at least help in some way to ease their burden, no matter who it was or what the circumstance.)

shows that she doesnt really look that upset!!

Fair enough ppl react to things differently but this is weird, however i dont think she would lie about, if she got found out she would face a h**l of alot!!

yeh she would but i geuss she feels she hasnt been in the front headliners but i believe its genuine, no one should joke about having something as serious as cancer

i wish her a get well soon and too all the other cancer patients suffering, my heart goes out x

It cant be denyed that this isnt a true story, seeing clips the gir; was devastated. My thoughts are with ehr and ehr family.

But saying tat, the way it was all handled and the way she recived her news is all very dodgy. But then maybe she truely beleived all would be o.k.

She herself admitted that she had no chocie but to go on the show as she needed to pay bils and keep herself working, but i think it could of been handled better
