Jag fans, is Matt Jones still practicing with your team? Will he stay all season?

I know he's not very popular there, but I'm wondering what the consequences of his drug arrest will turn out to do to his 08 season.

He played in their preseason opener so he's definately in camp. I think some injuries to their other WRs have given him a chance for more reps.

I'm guessing he'll get some sort of suspension from the Commish...maybe 4 games....he'll definately have to enter the NFL Substance Abuse Program if he wants to continue his career.

Yes.He pleaded not guilty today.Rumor has it he is getting off due to a technacality

Not a big Jags fan, but do live in the city.

As the previous reply indicated, he did play in the preseason game this weekend.  The talking heads on the radio say he has had a good camp and were impressed with his performance on Saturday.  A lot of the talk after his arrest was that he was going to be gone, but due to injuries at the wide receiver position and his performance thus far, there is a strong feeling that he will remain with the club for the season.
