Jagermeister question...?

Question

A friend told me that in Germany they drink Jagermeister like wine, as a sipping drink. Are we (USA) doing it all wrong by chugging it and making Jagerbombs? please don't give a stupid quote from the youtube video.

Most of the Germans I drank with at parties while over there downed them.

They also put some in hot chocolate at the outdoor Christmas markets. I haven't tried it yet, but will this winter.

jagermeister is supposed to drink slowly,u must enjoy it.but i guess theres nothing wrong in jagerbombs :P

Well the answer is simple....yes and no (ha ha)

when Jager was first invented it was used by the German people as a bitters which it is and was drank slowly after a meal to aid digestion .....then mast-jagermeister (company who owns it) met  and collaborated with a man named  Sidney frank who realized he could market this around the world as a cool shot  (or drink like jager bomb)

the rest of the world caught on and jager sales have been increasing in the triple digits for the past 5-10 years mostly from the ideas of a cool rock and roll outlaw drink with lots of hot jagerettes ........s*x and bad guys sell i guess

so like i said before you are wrong and right !

but enjoy it however you like it !!!!!!!!!!!

I am an American living in Germany. The Germans also love Jagerbombs. They do not really chug it. Some do sip it but its all in your taste. I mean it tastes like black licorice which a lot of people don't like. I personally still like Jagerbombs better than any other way. If you go to any bar in Germany and ask for a Jagerbomb no one will think strangely of you.
