  1. I'd rather sign an almost 30 year old in Hossa than a guy who is past his prime (Jagr).

    I see it as a h**l NO.

  2. because of Sidney Crosby, Jagr will probably never play for the pens again. Pittsburgh has invested way too much into making Crosby the face of the franchise to have to pay another player a big contract. The salary cap next year is going to be like 56 or 57 million and they can take up 15 or 20 million just for two players

  3. For me, its a h**l no. Not only because I don't want him on the Penguins, but for money purposes. We all know Jagr wants, loves, and sleeps with money. The penguins are having enough salary cap problems as it is, and it would be a waste of money for two years. He's only, and will disrupt the locker room. Focus on other wingers who always give 110% only Jagr.

  4. Never.

  5. The Blackhawks probably have a better chance of winning the Stanley Cup.  Pittsburgh is already tight on money, so they have no room for Jagr.  Jagr either stays with the Rangers or goes back to Russia.

    Regards,

    D.J.

  6. Jagr will play in Pittsburgh again the day he grows the mullet back.

  7. no i can't see it happining.

  8. I'd say 1 in 100

  9. They won't trade him to a division rival... that is highly unlikely.  So I wouldn't bet on that.

  10. it would be nice to see him come back, the possibility is a maybe beings he still has a house here in pittsburgh. but i really dont see him ever coming back to play in pittsburgh

  11. If Mats Sundin goes to the Rangers I say Jagr leaves NYR but doesn't necessarily go to the Pens.  The Pens however could afford him now because I believe Marian Hossa is going elsewhere, and they no longer have Gary Roberts or Ryan Malone (to TBL).

  12. They can't afford him obviously. The Russian Super League offered hiim 35 million!!!! They're gonna take a lot of the NHL talent because they have no BETTMAN!

  13. Jagr coming back would put some grit on their front lines and bring back some good ol' glory for Pittsburgh. I bet you that if Jagr had been there instead of Hossa, they would have made it to the Cup and won it. (Not that Hossa was the reason they lost it)

  14. h**l NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  15. There's not even a chance in h**l.

I love Jags, and I'd love to see him back, but we have more important people to sign and what-not.

  16. One of the big reasons he left was the whole Mario Jr thing. First of all that WOULDN'T go away, it would be there again when he came back. Second he would still be second to the Star. He wants to be a star, and Crosby is the face of the league so he would have no chance. I think there is a good chance he will go to Russia, like he said before, so he can be more of a star. Although the deal the league is offering for Malkin almost makes you wonder if they think Jagr is staying. Then I see Straka is leaving the Rangers, and you'd almost think him and Jagr were friends(don't know if it was ever said or not just look at their careers as much as they have been teammates and entered the league around the same time and both being from the same Country) so that may influence Jagr as well.

  17. It's definitly h**l NO!  They don't have the money to keep Malone as it is how could they ever afford Jager?  Jager made 8.3 million last year and I don't see him cutting his salary by more than half which is what it would take for them to afford him under the cap.  Besides I think there is still too much bad blood there anyway.

  18. well he is good but he complained the whole time he was here he didnt like the team where he was at blah blah blah i mean please you are playing along side mario lemieux.....legend duh....idk who knows if he does ok if he doesnt ok

  19. He is not coming back. He is going to be a free agent or he will stay with the Rangers

  20. 0% to pitt

    50% to rangers

    50% to russia

  21. thats a h**l No. hes goin to Russia

  22. No way.  He'll play another year in New York.
