Jaguar XF or Audi A5??

Question

What do you recommend I buy? A brand new Jaguar XF or a Audi A5 Quattro (both roughly same price). Both I think have pros and cons. Discuss....

save your money and get a tuc tuc.not really both nice cars but audi all the way

Seems to me you are comparing apples and oranges (or at the very least, Valencias and Navels).

The XF is a four-door sedan.  The A5 is a coupe.

If you often need to carry more than one passenger in comfort, the XF is the way to go.

If style is more important, the A5 wins by a narrow margin.

From the viewpoint of reliability/durability, it's a wash.  Audis are not known for their stellar reliability (I have clients who won't buy another.), but Jaguar has shared the bottom of Consumer Reports' surveys with Land Rover and Mercedes for a while.

Audi, reliable, secure and look good. Can't say that about a Jag, unless you are over 60 and will only drive at 20mph.

As far as reliability goes, check consumer reports and jd power. Jaguar has improved quite a bit in recent years. Audi is still not know for reliability. As for style, Audi is known for its interior. I think the exterior is very plain. Every review about the jaguar has the interior compared favorably against the audi. The handling and ride are close to the BMW. The exterior is mostly positive. Some people don't like the front. Check out the motor trends review. It has the Jaguar beating the BMW 550i, Merc E550, and the Audi.
