Jaguar babies? Keep alive?

my jaguar fish breed but the babies get eaten HELP!!

Who ate them? It shouldn't be the jags who ate them, they will protect their young for some time. I am very surprised they did not protect their young with all they have. If it was the parents who ate them, it is just from them being inexperienced in keeping babies, and something must have bothered them enough to have them eat their babies.

Are you keeping any other sort of fish with your Jags? Like someone else already pointed out, the parents usually care for their young and get quite aggressive to any other species whom come even remotely close.
