Jaime Alguersuari prepares for his F1 return in 2013 – Formula 1 news
Former Toro Rosso driver, Jaime Alguersuari has said that he is preparing for his return to Formula 1 in 2013 and is confident that he will be driving again next year.
Alguersuari is presently working as a commentator in BBC Radio 5 Live and is also a Pirelli test driver. Although, he lost his seat in the Faenza based team in the winter but he is trying his best to make his comeback in the sport.
The Spaniard has said that he really enjoys doing commentary, however, he said that he won’t be able to do it in the next three grands prix. Moreover, he insisted that his main aim is to drive in F1 for which he is making the essential arrangements. Besides,
he said that he is already preparing himself for his return in the game in the coming year and is feeling quite confident about it.
"I have been really enjoying my commentary role at BBC Radio 5 live this year but I won't be going to the next three races," he wrote. "It had been planned for some time. It's better for me to prepare for next year, to keep my training up, as I'm sure I
will be back driving in F1."
In addition, he said that he is going to be back in action with the Italian tyre company for the development of its wet-weather compound tyre for the next season.
The 22-year-old said that the test with Pirelli is very crucial as they are going to decide the necessary specifications of the coming season’s wet compound tyres. Additionally, he said that he will be busy in training for the coming year.
"I also have an important test with Pirelli in Paul Ricard, France, in two weeks' time, where we are going to be deciding on the specification of next year's wet tyres," he added. "Apart from that I will dedicate myself to training."
The Barcelonan driver has surely got some amazing talent in him and it will be very interesting to see that whether he will be able to make his way into F1 again or not.
