Jakarta Open: Dimas Pratama ousts Alfiantiarno to penetrate into Men’s Singles main round
Indonesia’s talented player Dimas Pratama displayed phenomenal show when he penetrated into Men’s Singles main round after beating Alfiantiarno in qualifying-round battle at Djarum Sirnas Flypower Jakarta Open 2012 on Tuesday, May 15, in Indonesia.
Dimas was incredible in his game plan as he did not spare any loophole for his rival in the contest and won it in three games while remaining focused in the court.
The in-form Dimas won the first game with a tremendous margin but lost the second set with a huge difference. However, he fought back in the deciding game and won the match with a wonderful margin.
On the other hand, Alfiantiarno received a shocking treatment in the opening game but he made his way back into the match by taking the second game.
However, he failed to maintain his better play in deciding set and lost the fight in rubber games.
In the first game, Dimas started it in a dominating manner as he played with precision and also did not consume much time in setting up a superb lead on the board.
Until the one-minute interval in the opening set, Dimas was sailing smoothly while remaining miles ahead of his challenger.
After the break, the in-form Dimas continued his perfect play without facing any trouble and remained successful in winning the game with a terrific score of 21-6.
In the second game, Alfiantiarno changed his game plan and played with aggression this time. He was in wonderful control this time and also managed a reasonable lead until the break.
After the interval, Dimas tried to take over the control of rallies but failed to catch up and lost the set with a 19-21 score on the board.
In the deciding set, Dimas did not take much time in setting up an early lead and maintained it until the mid-game break.
After the interval, Dimas continued his impressive play in the court without showing any respect to his opponent and won it with a margin of 21-13.
Dimas won this interesting fight in 35 minutes with a 21-6, 19-21 and 21-13 score on the board.
