Can you predict yards per game, TDs, INTs and will he stay healthy???

He's got a lot of freakin weapons this year.... Smith, DJ Hacket, Moose Muhammed plus Williams and Stewart at backs. i must admit that i am conflicted about wether to touch him in a fantasy league

  1. I'm expecting a big season out of Delhomme. He's finally healthy and he's got the weapons as you said. I have him right around the 10th best QB in the league this season.

  2. Fantasy Football Index, the best mag. in fantasy football ranks Delhomme 17th in QB rankings w/ a 215yd/game and 1.49TB/game avgs.  I personally think he will do even better than that.  Even though he is coming off Tommy John surgery supposedly he is throwing the ball pain-free and better than before he got injured!  And like you so appropriately noted, he has many more weapons to throw to this year.  Add on top of that their easy schedule and I like Delhomme at about the 10th best QB on the board.  good luck.

  3. I was wondering the same thing myself earlier today.  The other guys above me touched on this too, he's a couple things going for and against him.

For: Lots of weapons, good running game, good chemistry with steve smith, was having a very good season before he got hurt last year (i think it was like 7 TDs to 1 INT in the first few games), carolina has an easy schedule this year

Against: He's coming off of surgery, they're going to be very run-heavy and his pass yardage probably wont be higher than lower 200's per game, he tends to throw a lot of picks.

I predict... 220 ypg, 27 TD, 15 INT.  You cant predict whether a guy will get hurt, but he's a pretty tough dude, so he'll play through pain until he cant anymore.
