  1. i think Delhomme is one of the most overrated fantasy QBs in the game, and i would not draft him in a 12-team league. he doesn't average 250 passing yards a game, and it's been two injury-plagued years since he even threw 20 TDs.

the only reason i'd even consider starting Kitna over Warner in Week 1 is because Detroit is facing Atlanta. and if it were me, i wouldn't do it. but it wouldn't be a bad decision. Detroit's not all of a sudden going to become a run-first team just because Martz left, but you're crazy if you don't think pass attempts will drop.

i'd be willing to bet that barring injury Warner will put up the best numbers of the three this season. their running game is good enough, and he has better receivers than Delhomme and Kitna. obviously, injury IS a concern for him, but Delhomme is fragile and Kitna's not much younger. so i wouldn't let it scare me off.

i would dump Delhomme for Warner and be ready to trade Kitna as soon as he has a good game or two. then make sure you get a decent backup for Warner- that's when you carry Delhomme in case of an emergency.

  2. The question should not be Delhome or Warner it should be GET RID OF Kitna. HES TRASH, an Int machine. Are u people crazy? Kurt Warner has starting job and had better stats then any QB in the nfl over the final 8 games of the season last year, even Brady! This is a no-brainer, Warner has amazing recievers. Kitna won't throw the ball 1/2 as much as last year, did u forget? Mike Martz left town, make way for The RB's in detroit.

P.S. Kitna didn't even get drafted in my league.

  4. that is a tough question

I think you should stick with Delhome, he has got mushin muhammed back along with steve smith, deangelo williams and jonathan stewart are going to keep those safeties a little honest this year and cause them to creep up on the line some. besides that delhome looked pretty snazzy against washington this past weekend. don't get me wrong I love my Redskins, but Delhome did look very good.

If your heart was truly with Warner though, it wouldn't be a bad move to get him either. he does have boldin and fitzgerald, and not to forget rising star leonard pope. they only thing is that boldin is a little unhappy in arizona and there have been trade rumors with philly.

All in all, warner wouldn't be a bad decision, but Delhome would be a better one.

  5. Wrong keep Delhomme, sure Warner still may be a little accurate, but Jake is still in a system he knows and he is looking great this off season, there is no reason to switch, and don't worry too much about smith being out week 1 and 2 Muhammad will hold his own to be open for Jake along with Hackett.

  6. -With Warner, you're guaranteed TD's.

  7. I definitely think so. When Warner knocks out Leinhart for the number one spot, he will definitely shine. He hasnt always been one of the most memoriable QB's, but he is an amazing QB who STILL is in his prime.

He makes the passes when needed, and he gets a LOT of yards which would be great.

Kitna--sorry, he's not going to do very well with the Packers looking just as good this year, and Vikings have Jared Allen among other amazing talent on D that could hurt him.

  8. jake is coming off an injury. but warner was the #1 rated inn the second half of the season.
