Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski has expressed frustration over his current role at Signal Iduna Park. The player has threatened to part ways with the club if the manager Jurgen Klopp continues to bench him in the ongoing season.
The midfielder has been confined to the bench for majority of this year’s campaign which has become a cause of frustration for the Polish international. Jakub admitted to the intense competition for places within the team but wants the manager to at least
give him a chance to prove his worth.
Blaszczykowski clearly stated that he might have to consider leaving the club if the situation stays the same. He reckoned that the manager is doing injustice to his talent by keeping him on the bench and demanded more first team opportunities in order to
stay fit.
While talking to local reporters over the entire situation, the 25-year-old added, "I am not satisfied with the way I'm being used at the moment. I get upset when I don't play. Let's just wait and see how things develop before December. Some things could
change over time. When I don't get the chance to prove my worth, I might have to look elsewhere to get playing time."
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983 international also claimed that Dortmund can still win the Bundesliga despite being six points adrift of the table toppers, Bayern Munich. He believes that the side has strength but the only thing they lack is consistency.
The player also launched an attack at the Japanese international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364, whose current run of form is doing no good to the club’s chances. Jakub suggested to bench the midfielder instead as some necessary rest might bring his form back.
Blaszczykowski joined the Borussians in 2007 and has appeared in 120 league games so far, bagging eight goals in return. He earned his Poland debut in 2006 and has six goals to his name from 44 international caps.
The Black Yellows are next up against Werder Bremen on Friday, and the former Wisla Krakow player is likely to get a start in that game at expense of the underperforming Kagawa.
