Borussia Dortmund winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jakub-Blaszczykowski-c17616 suggested that he is disappointed to pick up an injury in his side’s 1-1 stalemate with league rivals Hannover. The star player is determined to be back again on the playing field and
help the BVB return to top form.
The talented player is likely to be out of action for six weeks following an ankle injury, and he will have to be patient in order to resume his strong start to the season. The attacker stated that he knew immediately that he would
not be able to carry on after suffering a blow to his ankle.
"I immediately felt something wrong. As an athlete, you notice this," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The midfield maestro admitted that the setback is a huge blow for him as he enjoyed a good run of form this term. However, he maintained that worse things have happened to him and will work hard to regain full fitness. He further
added that he is frustrated but insisted that the Black Yellows can cope without him.
"It's not easy, especially since I've had a good season. But I've had worse things. I will fight and try to come back quickly,” the former Wisla Krakow player added.
"This is very annoying. But it cannot be helped. The guys can do it without me!" the Polish international mused.
The attacker will be unavailable for Dortmund’s European game with Real Madrid and will also miss Poland’s World Cup qualifying clash against England, even though he has on road to recovery. Moreover, he stressed that he will travel
to Warsaw as he has a duty as the skipper of the national side.
"If it works, I'll go to Warsaw. I am the captain, I want to be there and support the troops," he finally concluded.
Jakub said he wants to be there with the team to give them a moral support.
