  1. It started for all of us Sunday June 1st..believe me we dread that day all day everyday! Usually the Caribean and Jamaica and the Florida Keys get the fierce storms before they enter the Gulf-so its much more than hard rain..they get brutalized every year-every time one comes through the straightaway into G.O.M..I feel so sorry for them!  I would wait until the off season to go to any of them-like the other poster said I believe in Oct..the waters are calmer and you might get to enjoy it then:) You just need to keep a eye out on the activity in those parts if youdo go-be safe and happy travels to ya:)

  2. It has just started.  In fact, Tropical Storm Arthur blew up prematurely, at the end of May.  We are all stocking hurricane supplies and only in November will it be safe to breathe a cautious sigh of relief. As far as Jamaica is concerned, the most dangerous months would be August and September.

  3. Hi

this month is the start of the carrib hurricane season and you may be unlucky and get one but most of the time its just short sharp heavy rain showers.

Carrib is best Oct to march to be honest .

I have know it to be pure rain for two weeks out there at times but that the chance you take
