Jamaica or Caribbean cruise?

Question

I get to go on a trip with my mom right after I graduate this year. For those that have been to Jamaica or on a caribbean, would you suggest staying only in Jamaica for seven days, or going on a week long caribbean cruise?

I just came back from a Caribbean cruise and it was great! We docked at Jamaica for only a day. I wish we had more time there but not a 7 day staye, KWIM. Next year we are doing the Eastern Caribbean visiting 7 islands.

I've stayed in Jamaica for 7 days or more at resorts in Ocho Rios and Negril.  Both were nice, and we had a lot of fun.  There are lots of fun things to do there.  I've also been on cruises in the Carribean.  I think the cruises were more fun, as you get to stop at a lot of great ports, shop and do fun things at each port.  The food on the ship was great, too, as well as the entertainment.  It all depends on what you like to do.  Have fun!

If you are under age 25 then it is best for you to do Jamaica.  But be care full in Jamaica.  Cruising you will need at least one passenger over 25 in your cabin. Have fun
