Jamaica!?!?!?

I've heard that Jamaica is such an amazing place to go. Like they have crazy partying...and other fun things....

If anyone here is from Jamaica or has been there, can you tell me what it's like?? Would you recommend going on vacation there?

If you want to PARTY in Jamaica, forget about the usual tourist sightseeing (you will probably not have the energy to do both).

There is A.T.I. Weekend in Negril in the first week of august. 4 nights with 20 parties.  A season pass costs less than US$130. most of these parties are drinks inclusive, and hotels are almost walking distance away (if you aren't drunk).

The event generally is like a FESTIVAL and personal risk is super-low throughout this period. The hardest thing is to not hurt yourself drinking.

The more HARDCORE adventure would be to do a one week tour of all the major weekly parties in the streets, clubs, ghettos and pubs in Kingston. Many of these events are primarily going to be in or directly adjacent to 'ghettos' and 'garrison' communities so you MUST have a sensible guide carrying you around.  

You will be safe, once you have a street-smart and trustworthy escort. The experience will be fun, while bordering on scary and adrenaline-filled. Carry a cheap digital camera, but DO NOT attempt to photograph anyone who is doing anything illegal (smoking weed, using big firearms like fireworks toys, carry guns of any kind, etc.), and ask peoples permission when you DO take pictures. your friends at home will NEVER BELIEVE the things you'll see.

When on a party spree you may be lucky enough to hook up with a few promoters who can get you into even more exclusive experiences. There are just so many different ways to experience jamaican parties.

I live in JA so I guess I'm a little biased but it's the best place for tourists. You get the Caribbean flavor but with all the amenities your looking for because of the large tourist base in JA. No matter f you choose summer, winter, spring, or fall to go to JA there's always something fun to do.

Now I'm back in England the thought of going out to party here is disappointing. I went to lots of different kinds of parties in Montego Bay from Margaritaville to street partys to reggae sumfest. It's so much better.

yes i am from jamaica.There are lots of party spots,like the quad, assylum.major parties occur each year such as passa passa, sting.jamaica has many beaches as well as resort areas.there are places for EVERYONE in jamaica.I would recomend anyone to come to jamaica for vacations.

P.S. Keep away from ghetto areas gang wars can get drastic

oh definately ! Jamaica is really a fun place, the country thrives on tourism bcuz we treat them good and they keep coming back!.

I live in Montego Bay - the tourist  capital, and there are always places you can go to have tremendous fun!

Clean beautiful beaches, wonderful people, delicious food. hmmmmmm....i could go on forever, it is definately a place to visit.

yes jamaica is amazing place to go to ,with lot of things to do and place to go , with alot of  of different parties and crazy parties has you say  .but  stay out of the gnetto area .
