i dont know what your looking for i travel to kingston often and i love it there however its vilent and lots of problems new kingston and parts of uptown are decent but many other sections are in h**l, if your looking for a beach resort stay i couldnt tell you i never go to beach resorts but if you want to visit jamaica and be in jamaica around jamaica people, then i would say go but beware and know jamaica has the highest murder rate in the western world if that scares you dont go to kingston this problem is less in mo bay and negril and ochi rios but these places are tourist traps and people try to short change you and rip you off alot, and theres alot of racism from many black jamaicans and i find white jamaicans to be very to themselves and not the most freindly, however there are many good wrm freindly people white nad black but understand there is hardship if your not in a resort if you want ot sit on a beach all day why go to jamaica, go some where elese,

jamaica rocks yo should go theirs lots of cool historic places you can go to dunns river falls kool runnings emancipaton park, green grotto cave, the national gallery, heroes circle, port royal,...but i warn u avoid going to street side venderstheir very pushy
