Jamaicans do our politician think we are fools?

why is it that whenever there's a horrible crime or natural disaster our politician has to dress in political colours ( orange or green) to assist suffering people, as if to say look its JLPor PNP that is helping you.

On this evening news, where the flooding of Ocho Rios was highlighted, this MP find it so appropriate to dress in green polo shirt, just to point out what was being done to bring the town back to normal. what's the significance of this dressing to the business at hand. We need to move away from this political stupidity, Election is over, let work together for the betterment of our country.

Working together doesnt seem like a good arguement when one side is ALWAYS trying to make the other look bad. Last time i watched, portia was trying to make the JLP seem slow to act!

While most of us shouldn't care what color a shirt is, if the politician feels the need to wear a green shirt just in case anyone is too 'daft', then he is free to do so!

In the mean time, it will still boil down to the work.

To answer your question, YES!....and with good reason I might add.  We continue to elect them to consecutive terms in office despite the fact that we KNOW they only say what they believe people want to hear and then do nothing.  If that isn't foolish I don't know what is.

There is no working together; unity is strength.  When there is corruption, incompetence and inefficiency the only way for our politicians to remain in power is by dividing and conquering...and ironically that's one of the few things they do very, very well.
