Somerset’s prolific middle order batsman, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/James-Hildreth-c1647 is excited about his side’s Friends Life T20 quarterfinal against Essex, to be played at Taunton, on Tuesday, July 24, 2012.
"It's a pretty exciting fixture to look forward to,” said the 27-year-old right-handed batsman, who is Somerset's leading run scorer in Friends Life Twenty20 tournament this year
"We've played in several quarter finals in recent years and done well in every single one, so we want to continue that run of form,” he added further.
Hildreth has also urged the side not to take Essex as an easy opposition and remain at their absolute best, if they are to make a fourth straight visit to Twenty20 finals day.
"Essex are a good team, which we know, because we used to play them in the group stages, but we're pretty confident against them,” said the middle order batsman. “It will be a great challenge for us, but we've struck a good run of form at the right time
in all forms of cricket," he added further.

Somerset will also be boosted by the presence of regular skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Marcus-Trescothick-c1898, who is back to lead the side in the final two fixtures of the Friends Life T20 campaign.
The 36-year-old gangling top order batsman had undergone a surgery on his right ankle in April, for a torn muscle. Coming out of an injury layoff of almost 3 months, the former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 opener made his first appearance for Somerset in the eight-wicket win
over http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Durham-c782 in a Clydesdale Bank 40 match, on Sunday.
In the absence of Trescothick, South African medium-pace bowler http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-Donald-Topley-c93395, winning five of their 10 Flt20 games, and
losing only two, while three ended in no result.
A victory tonight would earn Trescothick’s men their fourth successive berth in the Flt20 final.
