James Madison and the Virginia Plan?! Please help ASAP!?

So I'm writing a news article on the Virginia plan for my Political Science class..

What made James Madison want to write the plan? What made Edmund Randolph want to present it?! If you don't know, please help me find a good link?!

he needed to revise the first constitution that the government had made, but he instead wrote a whole new thing. Randolph wanted to present it because it favored the states he represented and wikipedia probably has some good info on it.
