James Milner looking to land starting role in Manchester City midfield
Manchester City midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/James-Milner-c17706 has gone on to claim that he is willing to fight for a spot in the City starting eleven.
The midfielder was snapped up by Manchester City, from Aston Villa and following his move to the club, he is yet to impress in Manchester. Milner has taken to the field a number of times, but has for some odd reason found it very hard to link with his team-mates.
As a result, he hasn’t had as much field time as he was expecting to get.
Nonetheless, the player feels like he finally has enough experience and knowledge about his team, to go ahead and be one of the first names penned down on the squad sheet.
Milner when talking about his future at the club and the upcoming season is quoted to have said: “It’s a big season for me, you come to a new club and it takes time to find your bearings.

"But now I want to get a foothold in the team and prove to people that I’m good enough to be here and in the team regularly.”
He then went on to admit that winning trophies is one of the most important parts of football and with City, he hopes to go ahead and win a number of trophies.
He then went on to add:  “You want to be able to tell people, 'I've won this, this and this.' That’s what drives me on. That's what I feel I can achieve at this club. I want to be the best player I can and win trophies."
This coming season City are set to feature in the Champions League. This means that the team will have to be on its toes and will have to be giving it their all, every time they take to the field. At the same time, what most people would unanimously agree
upon, is the fact that Milner gives his team a hundred percent, every time he takes to the field.
At the moment City are stuck in a tricky situation. The team’s talismanic midfielder, Yaya Toure has gone on to injure his ankle and has been ruled out of action for the coming few weeks. The team will now have no option to turn to Milner, to come in and
fill for the injured player, considering they don’t have any other attacking midfielder.
Should Milner go on to seize this opportunity and show everyone just what he is capable off, then City might just have a tough decision on their hands, when picking their midfielder, following Toure’s return to fitness.
