After losing out to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 on the weekend, Manchester City are now eight points behind Manchester United in the Premier League title race but that is not preventing Milner to strive for perfection at the Etihad stadium...
The former Aston Villa midfielder has come out and made it clear that Manchester City will fight till the end of the season to wrestle back the Premier League title race from Manchester United even though there seems to be a large
gap between the two sides at the moment.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has also voiced his support for Manchester City’s title push but such a task seems highly unlikely at the moment given that Manchester United are in a high run of form and they have no big four fixtures apart from
their tie against Manchester City left in their Premier League schedule.
For Manchester City, it is not only a time to reflect on their own form of late but also to wait for United to slip up, something that does not happen very often when Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s men are at the top of the league table.
Even the likes of Arsene Wenger have called it a day as far as the league title race is concerned as he earlier stated that United are like a horse that has smelt his stable.
Milner believes otherwise as he said in his interview, "We just have to concentrate on ourselves. It is about learning as you go and taking the positives. It is important we step up now and finish the season strongly. We have not
finished yet and will keep fighting until the end. It was a big disappointment Sunday, and we need to pick ourselves up. So it is good to be playing again so quickly. We need to make sure we are firing and ready to go again."
Mancini added his view on the title race by saying, "It is clear that we need to start to win and we start on Wednesday. We lost and didn't put in a good performance (at Arsenal) and I'm disappointed about this. But I shall think
about the next game that we play - football is good for this. We can forget that game. We need to prepare for the next game and we need to win."
