James Tincknell under intensive care after a deadly crash
James Tincknell, the Leeds Carnegie centre, is badly injured in a crash.
He is seriously hurt and in the hospital after the crash. He is suffering through severe head injuries in the accident, which occurred near Durham and Cumbria’s border.
The 22 year old, Tincknell, is reported to be in a medically induced comma today.
Tincknell was driving back to his club for the training sessions, when his car, A66, crashed. He was returning after spending vacations with his family in Cumbria. Police described the situation as ‘dreadful weather conditions’.
According to the Police, six more cars also crashed and went off the road at the very same location. It was reportedly eleventh accident at Stainmore summit this year. Police affirmed that there was immense fog and drizzle when crash occurred and the road
was perilous due to the black ice.
The Leeds Carnegie coach said in shock, “The club would like to ask all supporters to keep in their thoughts centre James Tincknell, who was involved in a car accident on Monday morning.”
He further stated, “James is presently in intensive care unit, however he is in a unwavering condition and the club is in contact with his family to offer any support they require.”
He is currently admitted in James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough. He happens to be Rugby Union’s one of the most highly rated young centers. His skills have been internationally recognized and his family has received prayers from everywhere his name was
known.
