  1. Im excited about Bradley Smith on the new bike - he seems to be a great rider and it would be great to see a UK rider coming up throught the ranks andbeing a WC one day. The 125's are fantastic to watch at the minute (well this season - keep forgetting thats it for this year :(  )

I cant see James doing much in his first season, he'll be just finding his feet (would like him to finish top 5, but I seriously doubt it - top 10 maybe) He seems to have a lot of doubters, but I think he will get his head down and work hard and hopefully have a great 2009. How long is his contract with Tech 3?

  2. Hey Realroads

I think Bradley will be higher in the table at the end of the season, though that may be more to do with the bike and the fact that I'm tipping him for the top spot next season - or second place at least! (Remember that mystic shug - you read it here 1st - ha ha)

I can see Toseland taking a few podiums but perhaps not getitng enough consistency out of his bike. That said, Guintoli seemed to be getting better and better as the season progressed, so hopefully tech trois have found a few good settings to start the year on!

    Roll on Quatar!

  3. Bradley is under more pressure than James. No one has come from WSB into Moto GP and done much of note, with the exception of the exceptional Troy Bayliss (I mean that in relation to his one off win last year and I am a HUGE Bayliss fan). Bradley however is moving up to a well deserved high profile team. I personally think that Bradley will make more of 08 than JT but I think the latter will do well and will be picked up by a front running team for 09 or 10 and will then really shine.

Mystic Shug - you saw it here first

  4. JT....worst decision  of his life!! How does he expect to be able to run with the likes of Stoner, Pedrosa and Hopkins never mind Rossi when people on the 2nd hand Yamaha's did no good this year, Silvan Guintoli on dunlops on a yamaha was the only yamaha rider to lift the bar!!

I goota also say I wish JT all the best, he will need it!! Look what happened to Neil Hodgson ,Troy Bayliss and Nori Haga and look where they ended up................right back where they started. Look how Edwards performed in WSB and now look at him and thats on a factory bike!!

  5. dont forget young scott in 125s. bradders will do great. and wiggysan summed 52 up nicley.

  6. I think JT will find it tough in his first season but i'm looking forward to seing Bradley in the Polaris World Aprilia team next season a faster bike top five i would say.

  7. JAMES TOSELAND WILL DO FINE ALL THE WAY FROM CADWELL PARK ASDKIN A CERTAIN MICKY CORRIGAN TO HELP HIM WHAT A PROUD MAN E MUST BE!!! LETS JUST HOPE THE BIKE MATCHES HIS ABILITY... BRADLEY SMITH FOR 125 CROWN?

  8. As a fellow Yorkshire man, I should be singing the roof off about J.T. Yes he is a great talent and yes he the best rider we (England) could of put in MotoGP, but the Yammy / ? tyre ? package will not be enough to get James the places he needs.

Maybe they will go to Bridgestone and at least be in with a chance, but who knows.

James will come in the top 12 I reckon. Witch is good enough to keep him for 2009. Lets face it, if worthless junk like Careless Chucka and Barros were riding this year, J.T must get a  ride!

    As for Bradley :

    TOP FIVE!

This kid is on fire. He is so damm young too. He has had his " Master Class" from Alberto, but due to the Honda been SHlTE this year, he is now on a decent bike.

He will get Pasini's 07, but lets face it, thats not a bad thing since they figured out how to make the engine last.

Bradley got 10th place and 1 podium this year. On " that " bike. Just wait for 2008. Top 5 by this time next year, then number 1 rider for the ex Lorenzo team or [ " you heard it here first " ] maybe with the God Bartel on the factory KTM RedBull 250 effort.

Who know, but what I do know is, the 2008 Championship is going to be one the best ever!

(As good as the first half of 1992 with M.D? Just maybe !)
