James Tosland will be in a REAL championship next year. Good News?

The Yorkshire boy has singed with Yamaha Tech 3.

The bike is not the best, but J,T is by far the rider to sit on it (on Dunlops) so lets see what he can do.

I'm just glad he has left WSB. After the 8hr balls up, he was never going to get a Honda ride!

It is cool. Especially because WSBK is going to go back to the "Ducati Cup Series" next year with the new displacement advantage.  Hopefully by then the Dunlops will be a bit more competitive.

I think its a good move. At least he wont regret being in the best championship later.

But, I was really looking at him securing a Suzuki Factory ride or something. Definitely not the Tech 3 squad. Time will tell. But I am not holding my breath, going by how  the Tech 3 and Dunlop combo is.

Hey Wiggysan,

I think it's gonna be great to have a British rider in moto gp again, and Rossi (& Edwards)  have proven a Yamaha can be competative, though Tech 3 hasn't picked up too may points this season (52)

So as Tamada nabbed more of those 51 points - does that  mean it will be Guintoli for the chop?

By the way - we all know you hate WSBK - but for those that watch it, we're left without a "local boy" to cheer for ( at the moment!)

I wish he was on a factory team though. That can make all the diff. Don't forget he still has to beat Hagason this season. I heard a rumor he hired Biaggi to take out Haga to help him win

I've never heard of him (I don't watch the WSB, they don't show it here). I am not so good with the tyres thing but.. Dunlop are not a winning company in motogp.. Even Michelin ain't so good. Hope the boy has luck! :)) He is british or???

One more time I'm saying... it's gonna be an interesting season 2008!
