Jamesbo´s Girl tipped to win Investec Wealth & Investment Selling Stakes
Jamesbo´s Girl has got a solid chance of claiming the Investec Wealth & Investment Selling Stakes at Haydock in England on Friday, July 6, 2012. The winner of the class-4 event will get a cash prize of £3,881.
A total of 11 runners will be seen in action over the 7 furlong event, which is scheduled to start at 19:45 GMT. The going will be soft due to overnight rain and this will work in favour of Jamesbo´s Girl, who has earned a general starting price of 7 to
4 today. However, if more rain comes down, the punters will be reluctant to risk money on her.
The two-year-old filly has participated in just three events until now, which shows that she lacks experience. This will not matter much though, as her opponents are also quite inexperienced at this level, which evens things out at the end of the day.
The David Nicholls’ trainee made her debut in May 2012 and impressed one and all with her skills. She entered that event with a starting price of 13 to 2 and came close to causing an upset in the end. However, she was out of gas towards the ending moments
and had to settle for the runner up position by half a length.
This performance would have given immense confidence to the young filly, but she was unable to carry the winning momentum in her next race, finishing sixth in it. This had put a question mark on her consistency, but she responded to her critics with a spectacular
run next time around.
Refuse To Bend’s daughter out of Donna Anna was rated as the joint favourite to win her most recent race and she lived up to the expectations of everyone in the end. She displayed lightning speed back then, winning by seven lengths and no one was able to
come anywhere closer to her.
A similar run is expected from Jamesbo´s Girl, who will be full of confidence right now. She will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Adrian Nicholls, who has enjoyed plenty of success in the sport. His winning percentage is also decent, which will help him
get the attention of a few punters.
