Influential http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jamie-Carragher-c17728 has hailed the club’s impressive historic win over Arsenal at Emirates Stadium and the English defender believes that his team had a point to prove against the Gunners.

Carragher insisted that the opening-day draw was very demoralizing for the players as well as the management and has expressed his contentment that Liverpool showed their character to mark a rare win at north London.
"Last week was a comedown after everyone had built themselves up for the start of the season and we had started great. The club, players and staff were on a bit of a downer so I think we had something to prove here after that and we did that."
