Jamile oliver!! weirdo.?

Vegetarian here:

I want to know if this bugs other people as much it bugs me?

Jamie Oliver dosent support caged chickens and them laying eggs saying cruelty and its inhumane (which I 100% agree with)

But what doesnt get me is this stupid man on his television show slit a lambs throat!! Killing it.

And I don't watch him usally because I have never had time for him and his lisp even when I ate meat but was at sisters place.

meh.. it's possible it turned some people into a vegetarian so I'm not too offended by it. alot of people complained that the lamb was slaughtered without being knocked unconscious but all kosher slaughter and virtually all slaughter outside of the U.S. is done this way.

I saw him kill male baby chicks in a gas chamber on youtube before too.. it may be sad to see but it's reality..

There's a difference between killing an animal and abusing it. He was using that program for educational purposes, not for gratuitous violence. He also suffocated chicks to show the reality behind the industry. I kill my chickens to eat, but that doesn't mean I support cruelty.

I don't see anything wrong with slitting a lamb's throat if you do it quickly with a very sharp knife, minimize the suffering of the lamb, and then eat it without wastefulness.  That's nature. It's not my personal preference, so I wouldn't do it.

What I object to is the lamb being treated cruelly and suffering pain, fear, and cruelty during the time it waits to be slaughtered.  In our world, the one doesn't seem to exist without the other, so I don't participate in that cruelty.

I saw that show! Killing animals is not what I would call entertainment. It made for uncomfortable viewing.

Jamie Oliver is an idiot. He sponsored Sainsbury's, promoting their products- but on the show, he criticised Sainsbury's because the chain supports battery egg farms. That must have left him red faced.

Never heard of the guy.....but I hope he rots in h**l!  This killing for entertainment is horrific! Sounds like he is just like that zimmerman guy and that grills guy. They are all morons and so are the idiots on this post stating its cool, like Bogie..........GET THE h**l OF THIS CATEGORY JERK!
