Jane Eyre Thesis Statement.?

Question

I just need to right a short two page paper on the summary theme of Jane Eyre for my AP Lang class..this is all I have so far:

Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre is the journey and transformation of Jane, a lonely, self concious ten year old girl into a confident, self reliant governess. Jane struggles to find a balance between independence, friendship, and love throughout the novel.

I just need to add a thesis statement to the end of that and I should be okay for the first paragraph. Any ideas?

your first sentence was a thesis statement. you just need to add more before it and you will have a perfect paragraph! :)
