Janet Evanovich's "Stephanie Plum" Movies?

Who would you cast? My Choices:

Stephanie Plum - Sandra Bullock

Grandma Mazur - Estelle Harris

Joe Morelli - John Stamos/Benjamin Bratt

Ranger - Antonio Banderas

Lula - Mo'Nique

I love these books =D

So this is what i think..

- Stephanie Plum : Leah Remini, Sasha Alexander (from NCIS), Lauren Graham (Lorelai from Gilmore Girls) OR Sandra Bullock

- Morelli : Eddie Cibrian, Victor Webster, James Denton, Hugh Jackman, OR even Eric Dane (McSteamy from Grey's Anatomy) although it's hard to put a face on Morelli.

- Ranger: he seems too perfect. I guess if I had to choose I'd pick Jay Hernandez, Adam Rodriguez or Shemar Moore, only for his body. Just like Morelli, it's hard to put a face on that guy.

- For Grandma Mazur I can imagine Ellen Albertini Dow playing that role.

- Mooner : Jon Heder or Matthew Lillard

- Lula : Queen Latifah or Mo'Nique

- (bitchskankwhore) Joyce : Laura Flynn Boyle

- Valerie : (typically) Meg Ryan

- Vinnie : Dan Hedaya and Danny DeVito

- Tank : Michael Clark Duncan or Ving Rhames

- Connie : Jeniffer Coolidge

- Mrs Plum : Catherine O'Hara

- Mr Plum : James Gandolfini

There's sooo many other characters, but this is all I can think of for now.

I'm indecisive with most of the main characters, which is why i have so many choices for them. But I definitely like your ideas =)

Hmmmm... this is interesting. Stamos is too pretty for Morelli, although I'll take Ben Bratt OR Mark Ruffalo. Who are interchangeable, as far as I'm concerned. Other than that... man, I really don't like Sandra Bullock as Stephanie. I'm not saying I have a better suggestion, I just don't see it. Everyone else I find myself agreeing with, although I'd give Cloris Leachman a shot at Grandma. She's a comedy legend, and Grandma Mazur is... well, a joke. ;)
