Janissaries vs Samurai ?

300 Janissaries. 320 Samurai. The Janissaries are invading. The Samurai have the numerical advantage,and have some cover, yet these Turkish praetorian guards have their guns. They're close enough to rain some bullets on the Samurai, but they're closing in. Who wins?

Bonus Q's:

Both have light armor and advanced sword training. Strip the Janissaries of their guns, who wins now?

After some long thought I have to conclude that the Samurai would slaughter the janissaries down to the man. The samurai would have all the advantages. They would close the distance quickly and the musket is a big club after it is fired it would take too long to reload. The Samurai are not only swords men they are also mounted archers. The other thing is an absolute disgust and fear of being seen as weak or a failure would motivate the Samurai far more effectively than the religious belief of the janissaries

The trainings of both Janissaries and Samurai are equally extensive, the Janissaries were even supposed to remain celibate.

The main weapon of the Janissary was the musket. Janissaries also made extensive use of early grenades and hand cannon, such as the Abus gun. Abus gun were like portable cannons, like the grenade launchers we have nowadays. Some Janissaries were even expert archers, I do respect the code of honour of the samurai, but with a tight formation the Janissaries should win easily.

The reason for this is how samurais fight, they don't cheat, they don't ambush from behind, they engage enemy face to face.

If you had said 320 ninjas, then you have a fight, they use darts, and all sorts, they have no rules, there only aim is to get out of a fight alive.

The bravery and expertise of the janissaries in battle was key to the success of the GREAT OTTOMAN EMPIRE.

Samurai both times.  

Close range, the Samurai are the best swords men the world has ever known.  The Janissaries have single shot guns.  Once the fire once the samurai would be on top of them.
