I’ve read that Jelena Jankovic has plans to make Dubai her new home. But how has she fared at the tournament here in the past?

It’s been a mixed bag for Jankovic in her five previous appearances at the Dubai Tennis Championships prior to 2010. Her best result, before this year, was as runner-up in 2005, and she was also a semi-finalist in 2007 and 2008. That’s balanced by a first round loss in 2006, and a third round defeat in 2009.
