Janome Memory Craft 10001 auto bobbin winder not...

I have had my bobbin winder assembly replaced 4x in 2 years and it is broke again. It just stops winding. The dealer has been vey cooperative but I'm afraid the warranty will run out soon and I will really be stuck. Any suggestions as to why these bobbin assemblies keep failing?
