Janome My style 16 - stretch stitches

Question

Okay, bought the machine second hand, had it serviced and it works beautifully only how do I turn the dial around to "stretch stitch"? I feel like I'll break it if I force it around there to about 7 o'clock so was wondering if you perhaps push/pull the dial to turn it? I thank, in advance anyone who might help.Riki
