act and sent Singapore to 0-3 loss.
Japanese team set tone for a great competition and picked up an early lead in the first set. Singapore lagged behind on account of committing too many attack errors. However, the Japanese team staged a consistent performance and claimed opening set of the
match with fair margin of nine points (25-16).
In the second set, Japan put more pressure on the rival side. The Japanese hitters showed no mercy and produced unstoppable shots. Singapore progressed at snail’s pace and scored only 12 points in second set, while Japan moved to 2-0.
Following the loss of two sets in row, Singapore finally created a bit of spark on the centre court. Nonetheless, Japan refused all their efforts and closed third set at 25-21 that sent Singapore to 0-3 loss in the match.
On the other hand, Thailand overpowered team from Turkmenistan on Monday. Thai squad was equipped with all necessary skills to down the opponent. They displayed an incredible action of volleyball and held Turkmenistan for 3-0 (25-17, 28-26, 25-13) victory.

It was third straight win for Thailand in the competition. Thais went against Mongolia and Singapore in the last two matches, and defeated both teams in the similar fashion.
