  1. It depends on the season of the program which you joined.

I went there on December under Lions Club. Before I was chosen as a youth exchanger, I went for an interview. After one month no news from them, I thought I got no chance until one day I received a letter telling me that I was chosen.

Each of us has our coat which we wore during any special activity held by the Lions Club of Japan. We also have our namecard and the flag of club. There will be one leader among us who lead the whole group to Japan. Leader is usually chosen by the club which held this program. I think it is based on the age and the performance of our interview.

I still remember when I reached the airport, we went for a conference in a big room. After that all of us were seperated and followed our host family back to their home.

I learned quite a lot of things from my host family. I tried on different things and experienced their lifestyle. It was such a greatful moment.

I am sure you would wanna go there again when you return home.
