Japanese Curry Ingredients?

I love Japanese curry and buy the ready made sauce packets, does anyone actually know what the real ingredients are in the Japanese curry? I would like to try to make it from scratch but have been unable to find a recipe!

Good luck with making it from scratch. I have never met a Japanese who does that! They all buy the packets, even restaurants may proudly display the boxes they use. (It's equivalent to a place saying they proudly serve Sanka or Sweet and Low.)
