Question:

Japanese Worksheets in Romaji?

I have the "Japanese for Dummies" book, and I study from it and all, but I was wondering if anyone knew of some links that had Japanese worksheets in Romaji I can print out. It'll help me more. I really appreciate it, but it has to be in Romaji, since I don't know Hiragana or Katakana yet.

Thank you!

  1. You can find the kana charts online then you can google "japanese worksheets" and you'll find plenty of resources.

  2. The Latin alphabet was first used in Japan in the 16th century by Portuguese missionaries, who devised a romanisation system based on Portuguese spelling. Later the Dutch introduced a romanisation system based on Dutch.

By the 20th century, there were a number of different romanisation systems in use, including the Nippon, Kunrei and Hepburn systems.

Here are couple of websites that should help you with your Romaji (or Romanization of Japanese).
