I am planning a Japanese themed b-day party for a friend. she is turning 18 this November. I already have arrangements for the food, I need some ideas on games/activities that I could incorporate into this party. Also if you have some ideas on decorations, i am open to suggestions.

  2. decorate with bamboo plants, dragons, scrolls & buddhas, paper lanterns & have the guests make some when they arrive, learn chinese zodiac signs & how to write names &  words in chinese, each year represents a different animal so do an activity related to that animal, paint takeout boxes, use bamboo place mats, hide chinese trinkets & party favors & have a treasure hunt

  3. Chopsticks( hand game), two-ten jack, or go (originally invented in china)

  4. It doesnt have to be 100% j*p. You can do some chinese activities like pai ko, pai ko poker, chopstick games. You can decorate it with chinese designs and banners and maybe u can hang up a japanese kimono!
