Hey All,

I recently returned from a snowboarding holiday in Hakuba, Japan. When we stopped for lunch on the mountain there was always this brown curry they served with rice and choice of pork or beef etc... Anyway, the curry is VERY similar to the curry you get from the chain wagamama's..... I'm just trying to work out how I can make it?

Does anyone know of any websites that I can get the recipe from?

Cheers! Hope u can help me!

  1. You can buy it at international section, wal-mart.

You only need totatoes, carrots and onions.  You can add seafood, pork, beef or chicken.

It is very easy to make.  Cook vegetables first and add water and boil about 15 min.  Then add seasonings and stir.  THAT IS IT.  It is so easy and tasty!!

Most of everyone loves curry and rice.

  2. Hi, I live in Japan and all Japanese curry is pretty much the same. If you want to make it, go to any Asian supermarket and buy curry packs from Japan. Golden Curry is a good brand. I was just home in New Orleans and went to a Korean market and a Vietnamese market, both had a pretty good variety.

It is really easy to make. Just saute your vegs, pour water into the pot on top of the vegs and add the curry cubes. Done. We eat it pretty often.

    Good luck!

  3. Yes, Moderate is right. U can always get the standard curry pack from any asian supermarket. I am from Singapore and over here we can also get curry pack from Japan as well.

My recommend is S&B Golden curry. What I do is I put in carrots, cabbages and let it boil with 1/2 litre of water for 15 -  20 mins and put in cubes of beef and curry sauce. Add to rice or instant noodle. All japanese curry pack taste almost the same

    Yum Yum!
