Japanese fluency?

Could i hope to be fluent in japanese in one years time? I want to be fluent as quickly as possible without moving to japan yet. Could i hope to be fluent in Japanese in one year if i study around 2 hours every day? I want it sooo bad! at the moment im at basic conversation level, I could maybe survive in japanese atm. But i want to be fluent! heh ty

  1. If you concentrate more on the words, and less on the katakana/hiragana/kanji, then you could probably.  Just learn it in Romaji.  I'm learning Japanese and it's taking longer, but I don't have the dedication you do, and i have to learn to write.
